A native of Perú, Rocío Quispe Agnoli is
Professor of  Latin American Literatures
& Cultures at Michigan State U. One of
her interests is speculative Fiction
(sci-fi, terror, literatura fantástica) with
special attention to South American
and Peruvian authors. As a fiction
writer, she is known as Rocío Qespi.
Her book Durmiendo en el agua,
includes the award-winning stories
“El cuarto mandamiento” (La Regenta
1998) and “El cementerio de Acarí”
(Atenea de Salamanca 1999). Her
short fiction has been published in
several collections, anthologies and
literary magazines in Argentina,
España, and Perú. Editor and author
of the bilingual anthology Qhipa
Pacha. Futurismo peruano.
