New Releases in Science Fiction/Fantasy/Paranormal Romance for MARCH 30

Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.

As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.

Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 130+ titles featured this week):

Lia: As if being abducted by space slavers wasn’t bad enough, I’m sold to a species of aliens in need of extras for their immersive entertainment moons, where their privileged citizens can hunt or battle or bed us at their leisure. When I’m separated from my crew and dropped into a lush alien jungle, I have no idea which fantasy moon I’m on—until the first arrow nearly impales me. The alien who saves me and kills my attacker isn’t one of them. He’s a Taori who crash-landed on the moon and is now part of the life-or-death game. Massive and menacing with horns, a tail, and dark ink covering every bit of exposed flesh, Torst eyes me with an undeniable hunger that scares me almost as much as the aliens hunting us. But if I want to survive, my only chance is to accept his protection.

Torst: The last thing I need to worry about as I attempt to stay alive and find my fellow Taori warriors is a human female, but once I save Lia from a deadly attack, she is mine to protect. I’m trained to kill and to defend, and I will need to do both if I’m to safeguard the small, alluring creature and survive the aliens’ hunt. If only I didn’t have to worry about my species’ mating fever curse and the strange stirrings within me. Soon I’ll be battling more than the alien hunters. I’ll be fighting off the uncontrollable urge to claim Lia as my mate—whether she wants to be mine or not.

April left behind her dreams to become a professional dancer the day she learned her work contract was for a gentlemen’s club instead of a theatre. She’s waiting tables and trying desperately to avoid the stage when she gets an opportunity to take a job as a nanny on idyllic planet Ulfgard. The previous nanny storms out of the fancy penthouse screaming about the awful kids, but April can’t wait to roll up her sleeves and help. It’s their intimidating, achingly gorgeous father who has her stomach in knots.

Khall Rivvor is a war hero – a hotshot Jordraaki pilot who gained even more unwanted fame for his good looks. All he wants is a quiet home life. But the arrival of the new nanny has turned his world upside down. And while April works her magic with Bolynne’s hot temper and Minerva’s shyness, she’s weaving a spell over Khall’s heart, too. It’s all he can do to remind himself that she’s young and she’s depending on him for a roof over her head. He can’t give in to the need to touch her, even if it’s tearing him apart.

When danger from April’s past surfaces, Khall’s protective instincts go into hyperdrive. But it’s April who will have to face her fears and step up to protect the people she loves. Will Khall surrender to desire and open his heart to her in spite of everything? Or is this pilot destined to fly solo?
