SpaceX, Elon Musk’s private space venture, has now successfully landed its Falcon 9 first stage after placing 11 satellites into orbit.
I’ve been to launches, watched many more from a distance or televised, just like millions of others. And I’ve been thrilled and excited by the experience, but nothing has come as close to experiencing a truly futuristic, science fictional spaceship landing at the space port like today’s launch and landing.
I don’t think it will be too many more years before we can visit the rocket port and watch as the ships come in.
