The Galaxy Speaks: Original Trilogy Reigns, Chewbacca Tops Spin-Off Wish List Ahead of The Mandalorian & Grogu
JustWatch today released its latest report on the Star Wars franchise, just ahead of the premiere of
the latest feature films from Disney and Lucas Films, The Mandalorian and Grogu. The
questionnaire, which had over 3,000 respondents, almost 1,000 in the United States alone, explored
the opinions of Star Wars enthusiasts. JustWatch analyzed the findings to build this report.
The Questions:
1. Which of the three main Star Wars trilogies is your favorite?
2. Which Star Wars TV show stands out as the best in your opinion?
3. Which Star Wars character currently lacks a lead role but deserves their own spin-off
or origin story?
Key Findings:
● Prequels (Episodes I-III) beat the Sequels (Episodes VII-IX) according to fans
● Andor and the Mandalorian are by far the most loved series in the Star Wars universe
● The fans have spoken: Chewbacca needs a spin-off TV show
