Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 95+ titles featured this week):
HOPE FOR THE ALIEN WARRIOR (TREASURED BY THE ALIEN BOOK 12) by Honey Phillips
Felicity’s life is safe, predictable – and boring. Until a simple celebration turns into an alien kidnapping, a desperate escape attempt, and an encounter with the most dangerous, unpredictable – and exciting male she’s ever met. Luxor gave up on his dying race the day they gave up on him. Since then he’s lived by his own rules. Until a curvy little female waltzes into his life looking for a hero. He knows he’s not hero material but for her maybe, just maybe, he can play the part.
GRUMPY DRAGON CHRISTMAS (FATED MATES OF THE SARKARNII BOOK SEVEN) by Hattie Jacks
He’s the grumpiest alien dragon shifter this side of the galaxy, and the last thing he wants for Christmas is a fated mate. With my fellow humans all safely coupled up with their Sarkarnii mates, I have a growing problem. I’m pregnant. So I insisted on being left on Kitchik, a tiny planet where the weather has already taken a turn for the worse. As the snow falls and I try to get used to my new existence and impending birth, I run into Drekkan. Big, bad, fire breathing Drekkan. He’s been marooned on Kitchik for too long and all he wants to do is cause trouble. Plus, he hates the winter solstice celebration which is just about to take place. Thing is, I love a bad boy, and Drekkan is as bad as they come. But he wouldn’t want a pregnant human with no home to speak of…and who loves Christmas as much as he hates it…would he?
