Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 65 titles featured this week):
ALIEN PROTECTOR by Penelope Woods
The day I became a Captain with the Federation Star Fleet, I dedicated my life to fighting the bad guys. Everything was going well, until I crashed our starship into his crummy planet. Now, he wants to marry me. He actually thinks I was sent from the stars. I’ve never heard of an alien who gives back rubs. But I’m willing to try anything if it means getting off this planet. Marriage with an alien warrior was not on my bucket list of things to do. He tells me he wants to breed me. But there’s more to him than his muscle-bound exterior and devilishly handsome smirk. Little by little, he opens up. He makes my heart swell. I feel for him…And then he takes the next step to feel me. Sensing immediate danger in the region, he gives me his protection, but he’s packing more than heat. A quick taste of pleasure, combined with a heavy touch, and I’m ready for more. I’ve never been touched by an alien. But I think I like it. This is not a test. This is my new twisted reality.
OPERATION ARTEMIS THE DRIFT NOVA FORCE 4 by Susan Hayes
She’s the sexiest woman he’s ever seen…and his new assignment. Kurt just got the worst mission of his life – investigate JAG officer Bobbi Castiel. He wants to get to know the vivacious beauty better, but his plan was to wine and dine her, not scrutinize every aspect of her life. If she’s the spy they’re hunting, then his life just got more complicated, and his heart might never recover. She hates secrets – but she’s keeping a big one. Bobbi is on a classified mission to learn who is spying for the enemy, and she’s running out of time. If she fails? It’s just the stability of the galaxy that’s at stake – no pressure. She’s not the only one after the spy. Nova Force’s best are on the case, too, including Kurt. He’s as sexy as sin and ranks higher than chocolate on her to-do list. When the enemy strikes, Bobbi and Kurt are thrown together on a mission only one of them is trained for, and a romance neither one of them expected.
