It’s the Perseids All Month

The annual Perseid meteor shower peaks this morning (already gone) and tomorrow morning (Thursday) for those who want to get their fiery space debris geek on.

Best times for viewing in North America are between 3 am and dawn.  Thursday morning sees the Moon all dark and so should offer the best viewing opportunities.

Don’t miss your chance to watch a grain of sand immolate itself against the night sky.  Pretend that it was the grain of space sand carrying alien virii designed to exterminate all life on Earth and then laugh at it while saying “Eat Earthian Atmosphere You Alien Virii Scum!”
