Tales of Galactic Pest Control Kickstarter Campaign Blasts Past Its Goal—Funded at 124%!

June 8, 2025 — The bugs have been zapped, the bots rebooted, and the future of sci-fi pest control is secured! The Kickstarter campaign for Tales of Galactic Pest Control, the newest anthology from Amazing Stories Press, has officially closed at 124% funded, exceeding its original goal by a wide margin!

Edited by science fiction luminaries David Gerrold and Tom Easton, the book features 34 original stories about the unsung heroes of the cosmos—the ones who deal with everything that bites, burrows, infests, and replicates where it shouldn’t.

“We’re thrilled by the incredible support this project received,” said Kermit Woodall, Director of Amazing Stories. “Our backers didn’t just help us fund a great book—they helped us raise the bar. Thanks to them, we’re able to increase payments to our authors and invest more into making this anthology something truly special.”

The campaign brought together fans of quirky, hard-hitting, and hilarious sci-fi, all eager to see pest control taken to cosmic new heights. Whether it’s rogue nanotech, space slugs, or psychic bedbugs, the stories in this collection promise plenty of action, absurdity, and adventure.

With funding complete, production is now underway. Backers can expect their rewards to arrive within the month and retail outlets will have it after that!
