Quoir Publishing Announces July Release of Great America in Dead World by David Agran

A Satirical, Dystopian Vision from the Co-Host of The Dickheads Podcast.

All Hail President Supreme!

July 2025 – Quoir Publishing is proud to announce the upcoming release of Great America in Dead World, the latest novel from Wonderland Award-nominated author David Agranoff, available in July 2025.

In a world teetering on ecological collapse, Great America in Dead World introduces readers to Kai—a post-human woman enhanced with biotech to survive the ravages of climate change. Working as a “Janie,” Kai’s role is to ensure the continued survival of her elite clients, who are plugged into simulated utopias inside pods maintained by the working class. But when she is summoned to the White House by Chief of Staff Roger Greenstone to convince his powerful father-in-law to permanently upload his consciousness, the stakes suddenly escalate. With the latest food crops failing and truth itself crumbling, Kai faces a race against time in a nation ruled by the enigmatic “President Supreme.”

Blending biting satire with speculative dystopia, Agranoff’s novel pays homage to the visionary style of author Philip K. Dick. With its sharp commentary on class, climate, and the illusion of control, Great America in Dead World offers a chilling glimpse into a future disturbingly close to our own.

David Agranoff is the author of The Last Night to Kill Nazis and a regular columnist for Amazing Stories. As co-host of The Dickheads Podcast, he has built a reputation as an insightful commentator on science fiction and the legacy of Philip K. Dick, making him uniquely equipped to deliver this bold and experimental work of speculative fiction.

Great America in Dead World will be available through Quoir Publishing in July 2025.
