The airlocks are sealed, the space-roaches are squashed, and the Kickstarter campaign for Tales of Galactic Pest Control is officially fully funded!
Thanks to the heroic efforts of over 120 brave backers (armed only with credit cards and a healthy fear of alien vermin), Amazing Stories Press has passed its $3,800 goal—and then some! Now this bug-blasting, bot-zapping, tentacle-swatting anthology is locked, loaded, and heading for publication.
Edited by sci-fi legends David Gerrold and Tom Easton, the book features 34 delightfully decontaminated stories about the dirtiest job in the galaxy: future pest control. We’ve got mutant mice, space-borne parasites, nanobot outbreaks, and the hard-working humans (and not-quite-humans) who take them down.
“We want to thank everyone who backed the project,” said Director Kermit Woodall. “Because of you, this book exists—and we don’t have to fight a swarm of interdimensional termites alone.”
But wait! The infestation isn’t over yet. With stretch goals still in sight, we’re aiming higher—because our incredible authors deserve extra hazard pay, and honestly, the upgraded edition would look great on your quarantine shelf.
Still time to back the campaign and help us squash those goals like a beetle in zero-G:
