Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 97+ titles featured this week):
KIAN: ALIEN ADOPTION AGENCY BOOK 15 by Tasha Black
Silent and serious warrior Kian is being forced to leave his brothers-in-arms to watch over an Imberian baby and her adoptive mother. It’s bad enough to feel his ancient heart softening for the little whelp. But after one whiff of the beautiful Terran girl meant to be the baby’s mother, he is wrecked by the knowledge that this is his fated mate. Their long trek across the frontier moon’s dangerous tundra will threaten their very lives. But what good is Kian’s life when his soul is caught up in a fight against his nature, as he begs the gods to release him from the bond that pulls him tighter every day to the woman with the sparkling eyes and achingly soft curves?
SCARPER (THE DELPHIC DAME BOOK TWO) by Jenny Schwartz
VS Note: From the blurb for Book One: “Captain Cherry Pendit is a very improper oracle. A proper seer warns the hero, then retires to the luxury of her temple while the hero saves the day. Pfft. Boring.”
A fate-defying chase across the universe. Fate is a tricky witch. On the run across federation space, Cherry has stuffed far too many dangerous secrets into her scout ship. Now the Delphic Dame is the most hunted spaceship in the universe. It may also be the only force in the universe capable of saving humanity. Cherry just has to stay one step ahead of her enemies – and, maybe, of her allies.
