Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 120+ titles featured this week):
R’JAAL’S RESONANCE (ICE PLANET CLONES BOOK ONE) by Ruby Dixon
R’jaal has waited many turns of the seasons for his khui to resonate, only to be disappointed time and time again. But when he is taken captive by strange beings hiding in the very tunnels of the fruit caves, he wakes up to find himself in a strange underground cage. Also in the cage? A very pretty unfamiliar human female. She says her name is Rosalind. She makes his khui sing. It’s finally his time. There’s a big problem, though — Rosalind has no khui of her own. And if she doesn’t get one soon, she could die.
CHLOE: ALIEN SURROGATE AGENCY BOOK FIVE by Tasha Black
This wild rockstar and introverted kindergarten teacher have only one goal in common.
To get her pregnant as soon as possible. When legendary performer Jubal Ash loses the only person in the world who ever cared about his true self, he knows it’s time to start a family of his own. He expects to be matched with a starstruck surrogate who will loan him her womb and a week of good fun. But instead, he’s blindsided by a shy young schoolteacher, who somehow has him desperate with lust, in spite of her prim ways. Chloe McGuinty may be the only being in the system who doesn’t know who superstar Jubal Ash is. Until now, her life has been dedicated to her kindergarten students, and to saving for treatments at the local fertility clinic. But when the man she thought was her future marries someone else, she knows it’s time for a change. ..(more blurb on ebook seller’s page…)
