Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 55+ titles featured this week):
CHERISHED BY THE ALIEN OUTLAW (BRIDES OF THE ZULDRUX WARRIORS BOOK FOUR) by Ava Ross
Talia: Kidnapped from Earth with my beloved twin sister, Maggie, I’m thrust into the heart of a ruthless alien mining operation. I figure it’s over. I’ll die soon, and I’ll never see my sister again. I’m tossed into a cell with a blue-skinned warrior named Firion. He shows me a symbol on his hand and tells me this means I’m his fated mate. I’m not sure about that, but he’s kind and protective, and he tells me we’re going to escape. As we work side by side in the mine, our bond deepens, igniting a spark of hope in my heart. But with danger lurking, I must fight not only for a future with love but for the chance to find my sister. Firion: As a Zuldruxian warrior, my duty is clear: protect my fated mate, Talia, from the sinister lizard guards who threaten us. Together, we navigate a treacherous existence, falling for each other as we plot a daring escape. But with every passing moment, the risks grow greater. Will our love survive beyond this wretched place, or will I risk losing my fated mate forever?
EXPERIMENTAL VOYAGE by R J Blain
VS Note: A re-release which “contains new material” per the author.
When a spaceship accident costs Camellia her chance to explore the universe as a botanist, she jumps at the chance to be a test subject on an experimental voyage. If the gamble restores her hearing, her dreams for the future will no longer be out of reach. Venturing into the depths of space is dangerous enough, but when a shiftgem gate develops a mind of its own and yanks them into uncharted space, Camellia’s skills and tolerance are tested. Her chance to explore a new world proves to be a bitter pill to swallow upon learning the truth: some discoveries are best left lost. How can Camellia, with the help of a grumpy pilot, his cat, and his crew of space-faring predators, safeguard an entire planet incapable of protecting itself? The answer may cost her everything, including her heart.
