JustWatch released its latest monthly report on streaming service movies and television. Genre doesn’t do that badly –
In film, slasher/horror flicks dominate, making up 5/6ths of the 60% of genre film. Now that Halloween has past, we can look forward to Santa-themed slasher flicks, as opposed to the run-of-the-mill institutionalized-nutjob themed slasher flicks.
and, in “television” streamers (we can’t really call them “TV Shows” anymore, can we?) genre shows are up to 80%!
