Ukraine continues to defend itself and Putin continues to get more and more unhinged; western military and intelligence experts are suggesting that Putin may begin involving other countries as his frustrations with the Ukrainian invasion mount.
One suspects that the foregoing might be a reason for the on again off again nature of the transfer of Polish jets. US sources state that the transfer is “untenable” and also suggest that it might serve to draw NATO into the conflict (to which we say…it’s probably going there anyway, why not just rip off the bandaid?)
Don’t fly the jets to Ukraine; take off the wings, stick the fuselage on a flatbed and truck them over there. Send them to Ukraine as parts if needed. (The allied defenders of Malta uncrated old biplanes and used them effectively against the German Luftwaffe; the Israeli’s used pilots in Piper Cubs dropping hand grenades in ’48.)
Mini-editorial: My guesstimate is that this conflict is going to widen. History has shown – repeatedly – that early, decisive action would have mitigated things, though it is usually well after the fact that we come to this conclusion. I believe that Ukraine is one of those circumstances in history and the Western allies need to realize they are going to get roped into this no matter what they do. If they want it to end sooner rather than later, now is the time to take swift and massive action against Russia.

This website features videos of some of the fighting (not to mention a bunch of ads for firearms, scopes and gun safes)
and this Reddit is supposedly offering close coverage of the fighting as well (though you need to be approved for membership and we’re waiting for ours to go through).
Finally, this graphic purports to show the tremendous amount of damage that Ukrainian forces have inflicted upon Russian invaders; we can’t verify this (seemingly no one can), but it’s at least good for morale! (Source: Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Agency)
