Captain Future and the Horror At Jupiter Released

The fourth novella in Allen Steele’s new adventures of Captain Future, The Horror at Jupiter, has been released, bringing the series to its stunning conclusion!


Under arrest and in custody for the assassination of the President of the Solar Coalition, Kurt Newton – aka Captain Future, aka Science Fiction’s Greatest Pulp Hero – and his strange companions must find a way to foil Ul Quorn – aka The Magician of Mars – who has returned to Earth with an alien superweapon capable of destroying worlds.

Allen Steele, Hugo Award winning science fiction author (Coyote series, Orbital Decay) updated and modernized the pulp era science fiction hero Captain Future with his novel Avengers of the Moon (Tor, 2017).  He has followed up that novel with a series of sequel novellas, publishsed under Experimenter’s Amazing Selects imprint.

Beginning with Captain Future in Love (originally serialized in Amazing Stories magazine), it was soon followed by The Guns of Pluto and 1,500 Light Years From Home, concluding with today’s release of The Horror At Jupiter.

Amazing Selects titles are “mini-magazines”, featuring a lead novella surrounded by suspporting materials (guest author introduction, author and artist profiles, essays and other related features) and are richly illustrated throughout.
