The BIS Lunar Spacesuit – The National Space Centre

Members of the British Interplanetary Society designed a Lunar excursion spacesuit in 1949.

 

It was recently constructed from the original plans and limited to technologies and materials that would have been available in 1949.

 

Building the British Interplanetary Society Lunar Spacesuit – the first serious attempt to design a spacesuit for the Moon.
