Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first book (jump to the blog to see the approximately 95+ titles featured this week):
WARRIOR’S REIGN (WARRIORS OF YEDAHN BOOK 6) by Emma Alisyn
Reign Obe’shan is hot headed. Infuriating. Ambitious—unfailingly loyal and willing to maim, kill, or die for duty. Reign’s boss, Imperial royal warrior Vykhan loves her in secret, concealing his identity. Dark secrets shadow his steps, and despite his vow to protect her from a distance, his past threatens to ensnare them both. He fears if he unleashes his inner beast it will have no mercy, not even for his fated mate. But to block an enemy from claiming her—body and life—he has no choice but to let his dark side reign.
THELKOR (WARRIORS OF THE GOLDEN MERIDIAN BOOK 1) by Ava York and Starr Huntress
He doesn’t dare touch her. Even though he’s burning for the feel of her skin. They’re about to be sent off to capture a deadly criminal, and all Thelkor wants is a new pilot. Instead, a human woman arrives on the Golden Meridian. As a pilot and a genetic match to one of the warriors on the ship, everything should be perfect … but her records are lost in transit. She can’t be his. He knows it. He won’t allow it. But with every moment Rachel is in his sight, his need for her grows.
Rachel was born to fly. Why does she suspect that in the surly warrior’s arms she could soar higher than ever before? He doesn’t want her. That’s fine. She doesn’t want him either. There’s a whole crew of perfectly nice, reasonable alien warriors. Surely she can’t be mated to that jerk. Even if he makes her heart do loop-the-loops every time he’s near. When the mission puts them all in danger, will she get to see the real warrior under the surly mask?
