Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first book (jump to the blog to see the approximately 85+ titles featured this week):
LOST WITH HER ALIEN MATE (WARRIORS OF THE D’TALI BOOK 6) by Ava York and Starr Huntress
Strong. Beautiful. Perfect. If only I could make her see herself as I do. Ever since the human women arrived, I found myself drawn to her. Only her. Silent, eyes filled with terror, but brave enough to face this new world anyway. Every moment of her pain has cut me, torn my heart open. And when she leaves, looking for something that might heal her? I’ll make sure that nothing stands in her way. I will protect my mate from anything. From everything. Even if our journey takes us back to the lost beginnings of my tribe.
STARLINE (WARRIORS OF THE ELECTOR BOOK 2) by Imogene Nix
One man, one woman, one psychotic alien. The race is on to save humanity. Past, present, and future.
Mellissa Davis is your average bookstore owner and aspiring romance author until one day an electronic bookpad slides through the mail slot of her small store. Now all she has to worry about is a sexy, time-traveling stealth ship captain, staying out of the way of the bad guy, and saving the universe. Not much to ask…Duvall McCord, an up-and-coming space captain, travels to the past to stop the Ru’Edan leader’s plans to destroy the Earth Empire before it can be formed. His mission? Retrieve the handbook for the Elector. He doesn’t count on saving a woman who intrigues him or having to bring her back to his time in order to keep her safe. Time is running out. They must do whatever they can to stop the plot, but will it be enough?
