Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 80+ titles featured this week):
IVAR’S ESCAPE (ASSASSINS OF GRAVAS BOOK 2) by N J Walters
Ivar el Gravaso—a prince of Gravas—wakes in a prison cell with no idea how he got there or even who he is. If his captor can’t get answers from Ivar, his days are numbered. When a strange woman sneaks into the prison and promises to get him out, he’s suspicious. Is this nothing more than another trick by his captor or is she truly there to help?
Delphi is an assassin sent by the Gravasian government to infiltrate the space pirate stronghold of Tortuga in search of the missing prince. She finds a prisoner who is well-spoken, knowledgeable, and ready to fight, even though he has no idea who he is. He might be her target. It’s difficult to tell due to his ragged appearance. But no way can she leave him behind, no matter who he is.
FALCON: SKY MATES (INTERGFALACTIC DATING AGENCY) by Susan Grant
Dee is afraid of flying. But she’ll do anything for the chance to enter the Sky Mates program and be matched with a loving mate of her own. To overcome her greatest fear, she enlists the help of a big alien warrior with bravery to spare.
Sky Warrior Falcon is under intense pressure to return to his home planet with a Sky Mate. He can’t believe his luck when the sweet and smart redhead instructor who’s enchanted him since he arrived at Galactic Top Gun School turns out to be his match. Except, the only thing she seems passionate about is going out of her way to avoid him. Is she hiding something? When he discovers she’s signed up for lessons at a fear-of-flying clinic, he switches places with her instructor. If she’s serious about going sky high, he’ll make sure it happens with him. Determined to see Dee reach new heights, Falcon finds out that when it comes to true love, the sky is definitely not the limit. But will his planet allow their most talented pilot to pair up with a mate who’s firmly grounded?
