Bright, Ancient Galaxies Shed Light on Early Universe

“Reionization” sounds like something out of Buckaroo Banzai, but it was an important step in the evolution of our universe.

NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope has shed new light on the mystery of the Epoch of Reionization, the era in the early universe where the universe went from an opaque cloud to a dazzling, transparent vacuum full of stars and galaxies.
