New Releases in Science Fiction/Fantasy/Paranormal Romance for FEB 25

Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.

As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.

Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 80+ titles featured this week):

THE NAGA EXILE’S FROZEN MATE (SERPENTS OF SERANT BOOK 10) by Robin O’Connor

Felicia – They said deep space was lonely. They never warned me it could ache. After years in stasis, I wake to a dying ship, a broken world, and a man—or not quite a man—watching me like I’m oxygen after a lifetime of drowning. Levant’s voice slides through me like heat in the cold, his eyes promise sin, and when his tail brushes my skin, I forget how to breathe. He calls me his. Says the bond between us is written in the stars. I should fight him, focus on fixing my ship before it tears Serant apart. But every time he touches me, I want to shatter. The wind howls beyond the hull, but the real storm is the one he’s stirring beneath my skin. Levant – I was sent to the pole as punishment. Alone. Exiled. Then I found her. Human. Fire-willed. Fragile in a way that makes my pulse burn. When I found her sleeping in the ice, the bond struck like lightning through my veins. My exile doesn’t matter now. Only her. The Council watches. The ice moans with the waking Revenants below. Her ship is unraveling, and the planet trembles with it. To protect her, I must bind her to me. To save her world, I may have to sacrifice my own. The longer I’m near her, the more I know, I’d let the universe fall if it meant keeping her in my arms.

THE CRIME LORD’S PROPERTY: A VAHIRI PRIME DARK SCIFI MAFIA ROMANCE by Charmaine Ross

I traded myself to save my brother. One life for another. Simple math. The male who owns my contract is anything but simple. Drazex Draven is seven feet of charcoal skin, silver eyes, and barely contained violence. Chief enforcer of the most dangerous crime family on Vahiri Prime. The male they send when an example needs to be made. He could crush me without effort. Sell me without consequence. Use me without remorse. Instead, he brings me food when I forget to eat. Gives me access to parts of his compound no property should ever see. Watches me with a hunger he refuses to act on as though wanting me is a war he’s losing, and winning scares him more. When his enforcers start dying, I’m the only one with the skills to uncover why. The investigation drags us closer. Every stolen glance. Every accidental touch. Every night the space between us shrinks. He calls me property. A debt with a pulse. He says this is business. His body tells a different story. But someone inside House Draven is killing from the shadows, and the conspiracy climbs higher than either of us expected. If I’m right about who’s behind it, the truth won’t set us free. It could bring down House Draven entirely. And me with it.
