We have a big announcement coming next week, and as a Legion M member, we wanted to give you a heads up!
On Tuesday, Legion M will announce that we’re partnering with the Saturn Awards to create an entirely new award — the “Legion M Breakout Director Award!” — debuting at the 45th annual Saturn Awards show on Friday, September 13, in Hollywood.
If you aren’t familiar with the Saturns, they have been given out since 1973 by the Academy of Science-Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Entertainment each year to the best and brightest genre films, TV shows, stage shows and home entertainment productions. Unlike the Oscars and the Emmys, these awards have never been broadcast before, but instead take place in an intimate, invitation-only ceremony for Hollywood insiders.
This year, for the first time in its 45 year history, the Saturns will be streamed live online to a global audience, and Legion M will be a part of it!
