NASA’s New Atomic Clock Will Make Deep Space Travel Safer

Precise timing and positioning is critical to deep space missions.

NASA is set to test a new navigation system using a small Atomic Clock. The testing period will begin in June and run for a year. If successful, it could mean a new mode of traveling through deep space.
