• Remarkably Bright Creatures is a standout story this week, surging 806% in streaming interest week-over-week to land at #3 on the U.S. movies chart, streaming now on Netflix.
• The Mortal Kombat franchise continues its resurgence. The most recent reboot, Mortal Kombat (2021), is up 190% week-over-week and currently ranks #7 on the weekly movie charts, available on HBO Max and YouTube TV, while the original Mortal Kombat (1995) has also jumped into the top 100.
• Emerald Fennell’s 2026 adaptation of Wuthering Heights (2026), starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, arrived on streaming platforms last week and climbed to #8 on the weekly movies chart, with momentum continuing to build on HBO Max.
• On the TV side, Hacks is having a strong week at #6 on the U.S. shows chart (HBO Max/TBS), while Lord of the Flies is the biggest mover of the week — exploding +1,490% week-over-week to claim the #1 spot on the U.S. shows chart, now streaming on Netflix.
