Nominated For Rhysling Award

A poem published this year in Amazing Stories a Rhysling Award.

The Rhysling Award is the annual award for poetry presented by the Science Fiction & Fantasy Poetry Association.

Lesley Hart Gunn, a Fall 1922 winner of the F(r)iction Poetry Contest has now had her poem prayers in zero gravity nominated for this year’s Rhysling Long Form award.

The Rhyslings are named for Robert A. Heinlein’s character Rhysling, the “blind singer of the spaceways”, a former spaceship engineer who was blinded during an accident and now roams the spaceways, singing for his supper.
