Here’s to a very Happy New Year and happy reading! Lots of new books to begin the year with…
Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.

CLAIM: MOST WANTED ALIEN BRIDES BOOK SIX (INTERGALACTIC DATING AGENCY) by Candice Gilmer
None of this was going how Polly expected. She wanted to stop her cousin from being such a cheating, lying jerk, so she did what any woman would do. She brought the women he was hurting together to confront him and end his cheating ways. And it probably would have worked, if they hadn’t fallen through a portal to another galaxy where these big aliens claim them as their mates. Now, Polly’s mated to this green alien with a tail. A big tail. And while he seems charming, there’s something he’s hiding, she’s sure of it. Just like she’s sure they’re being watched. Erzo thinks he’s found a way out of his problems with this mate from another galaxy. She’s appealing and sweet. A bit paranoid, but he assumed that was from being whisked away from her galaxy and all. Then they’re kidnapped. By his family. To force Erzo to fulfill a duty he cannot hide from anymore. It’s going to take both of them, working together, to get out of this. If they’re lucky. If not? Well, the Charro are not very forgiving.
BORGAZ (HOW THE ALIENS WERE WON BOOK ONE) by Honey Phillips
Nothing has gone right for Mary since her parents were forced to sell their farm. Alone and desperate, she seizes a chance to return. Although the home she once loved is now a rundown shack and the once prosperous farm is little more than weeds and dirt, she knows she can make it work. She certainly doesn’t need any help from the huge, grumpy red alien who keeps showing up on her doorstep. Borgaz lost everything in the war – everything except his loyalty to his friend and former commander. Even if that means helping the other male establish a sanctuary for former soldiers in a farm community in the middle of nowhere. He knows his damage is past healing, so when a beautiful and annoyingly independent female arrives, he has every intention of keeping his distance. But even though she refuses to admit it, the stubborn little female clearly needs his help. As they work together to repair Mary’s farm, will they also end up repairing their own past wounds?
