Fund Raiser for John Varley

As reported through various online outlets, John Varley was rushed to the hospital for emergency quadruple bypass surgery this past March.

John is recovering, but he and his partner Lee are now facing large medical expenses and could use some support.

To that end, a GoFundMe Campaign, which can be found here, has recently launched.

Varley is the author of the Gaia Trilogy


and a winner of both the Hugo and Nebula Awards for his novella The Persistence of Vision in 1979.

John is not expected to be able to get back to writing for another six months and in the meantime needs assistance with rent, rehab and other expenses.
