IRS, otherwise known as the Interstellar Ramjet Scoop is the creation of Bill Wright, long-time Australian Fan and most recent DUFF (Down Under Fan Fund) representative to LoneStarCon3.
Bill was the Secretary of Aussiecon 1 (1975), a founding member of ANZAPA (Australia New Zealand Amateur Press Association), a lifetime member of the Melbourne SF Club, founder, member and participant in probably everything fannish taking place in the antipodes (judging from his popularity) and a fan since the 1950s.
Seems he hasn’t learned anything in over half a century.

In an email message from Bill, he says “Probably my best effort in the science fiction fanzine department was Issue No. 1 of The Antipodean Areopagus dated February 2011.” We’re waiting….
