Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 91+ titles featured this week):
CRAVED BY THE VISSIGROTH (VISSIGROTHS OF LEANDER BOOK FIVE) by Bella Blair
NIARA: Why my brother thought trading with the Chrymphten was a good idea is beyond me. And now I am the one paying the price for his stupidity by becoming Vissigroth Myles’s hostage. I want to despise him for taking me away from my home, but there is something about Myles that makes me crave his company. It doesn’t help that we share a love for his world that only deepens when we discover a lost city underneath the waves. Unfortunately Sarissa, the queen of the sirens, also has her eyes set on Myles and she doesn’t play fair. MYLES: The last thing I expected when taking Niara hostage was falling under her spell. But I have. Deeply. Before I can act on it though, I have to make Oceanus safe again for her and everyone else. Thanks to her brother’s stupidity the Chrymphten are planning an attack to take my world.
WILLOW AND THE WRAITH (ALIEN ABDUCTION BOOK 23) by Honey Phillips
Ruthless alien bounty hunter Wraith has buried his past so completely that not even he remembers his original name. All that matters now is that he’s the best at what he does. He lives by two ironclad rules: never break a contract and never get involved with a target. But then he retrieves a human female whose gentle spirit begins to thaw his icy exterior and suddenly both of his rules are in danger of being broken. When kindergarten teacher Willow is abducted by aliens and thrust into a perilous world far from Earth, she refuses to surrender hope. Her rescuer, the enigmatic and icy alien Wraith, claims to be devoid of emotions. Yet, Willow glimpses the deep loneliness behind his frosty facade, and she’s determined to help him remember the man he used to be. When his memories are restored, will Wraith return to Willow’s side or will his past drive him back into his role as the notorious Wraith?
