This day has been selected by various and sundry as National Science Fiction day because it corresponds with Isaac Asimov’s birthday (maybe; there’s some confusion over his exact year and date of birth).
There seems to be no harm in designating such a day on the calendar (though we’d have opted for March 15th if we’d been asked). so, what the heck.
