Who’s Next in Game of Thrones?

Robb-Stark-300x292Last night I was invited to a screening of the making of the Red Wedding episode of Game of Thrones Season 3 to mark the release on DVD and Blu-ray. It was really interesting to see the work that went into the episode, like even though some scenes were filmed in Ireland they still needed fake rain as they couldn’t rely on the stereotype of Irish weather. The rainy scene in the Red Wedding episode took three days to film and 500 gallons of water. But that aside, reliving that shocking episode reminded me of another one of my beloved Game of Thrones men has died and never to return. No more Robb Stark—how can this be? I thought I’d finally got over that moment, I’d mourned his death and I’ve just relived it. And the reminder of the show returning without him just leaves me with fear for who will go next.

Jon Snow—alive!

Now where I’m up to in book four he is still alive, but I will be seriously giving up the show if there is no more Kit Harrington on my screen.

Game of Thrones season 3 box set is out on DVD and Blu-Ray on Monday.
