Here Comes the Lull

It’s seriously getting close to the end of the 2012/2013 season. Next week May will be here and with it comes a bunch of season finales and the odd cancelation. It’s the time when I wonder what I am going to watch. Sure True Blood will be along on June, but that will only feed my hunger for one day a week. Last year I resorted to watching Grey’s Anatomy from the start…which ended with me at the end of the summer trying to finish the latest season before season nine started. I have already decided to catch up with Game of Thrones. I know, I can hear the shock from some of you that I am not fully up to speed with the show, but I was watching it with my flatmates, and while I was away they just couldn’t wait to watch the next episode, then the next and suddenly I was an entire season behind them. So I put it on my ‘to watch’ list and last week I moved it to the top of the list.

I actually think that this lull season is my favourite time, as I always discover new shows to enjoy, and something else to add to my list for the next season. Chuck for example is one of those shows. In fact I would say Chuck is the one that I am most pleased about discovering. Right from the first episode I wondered why I hadn’t watched it sooner. I saw the trailers for it on TV, thought it looked like a show that I would enjoy and that was it. I didn’t put it on reminder or record it. I just added it to the ‘to watch’ list.

There are some shows that just sit on that list, including old shows that I want to revisit. Do you have a ‘to watch’ list of things that you will watch at some point and if so what is on your list?
