On Saturday, April 20, local writers and authors will gather at the Hughes Library in Stroudsburg for the free annual Pocono Liars Club Writers Conference.
The day-long seminar will feature award-winning professional authors, editors, and agents giving advice to writers, answering their questions, and otherwise providing critiques.
The admission is free, but participants must sign up in advance because the seats are limited.
Speakers this year are writers L. Penelope and Randee Dawn, editor Joshua Palmatier, and agent Lori Perkins. The conference is hosted by local author and editor Michael A. Ventrella. Biographies of each participant is listed on the group’s web page.
The Pocono Liars Club sponsors the annual event, and is a group of local writers whose slogan is “We make things up for a living.” The group’s web page is www.PoconoLiars.com.
