Alan Dean Foster is not being paid royalties by Disney Corp.
Why? Because, as they claim, they “acquired the assets but not the liabilities” when they purchased Fox and other properties.
SFWA held a press conference with Alan the other day, taking that course of action because they have been stonewalled by Disney legal.
The resolution of this situation could up-end copyright across the board.
