One of our early contributors, author Alma Alexander, will be doing a live reading on Facebook and revealing “something new” during the event.
This event comes about following a lively Facebook discussion resulting from Alma being asked to participate in a local reading series and being informed that the “academic authorities” in charge of the series had ruled that “only literature” would be eligible.
Hmph! You’d think that academics would already know that “all literaure is fantasy”, but literary prejudice apparently knows no bounds.
Currently, Alma plans on hosting a reading on Facebook Live, this Sunday, 2/24, at 4 PM PCT.
