Amazing News Update

We were just informed by Johne Cook that Blastr has a very interesting piece regarding the origins of the new Disney flick Tommorowland.

No one is telling what the film is about, but is was apparently inspired by a 1952 archive box at Disney Studios and the examination of the contents thereof.

Including a copy of the August 1928 Amazing Stories. Yes, that one. The issue that premiered not one but two icons of the field: Philip Francis Nowlan’s Armageddon: 2419 AD that featured none other than Buck Rogers and E. E. Doc Smith’s The Skylark of Space.

How freakin cool is that?
