Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.
As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.
Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 118+ titles featured this week):
FLOR’S FIASCO (ICEHOME BOOK 17) by Ruby Dixon
VS note: Always exciting to have a new book from Ruby. One clicked of course!
I’m not supposed to resonate to him. It’s been a few years since I’ve landed here on Icehome Beach, and as resonance after resonance dwindled the list of bachelors, I knew who I’d end up with. As soon as we got past our differences, I’d end up as R’jaal’s mate. On an everyday excursion, however, my khui decides otherwise. It sings all right…but not to R’jaal. Instead, I resonate to I’rec – the forceful, brash, overly-alpha leader of Shadow Cat. Did I mention he’s got a long-distance girlfriend already? It’s a big mess, and it’s about to get messier. But as things get chaotic on the beach and our way of life is threatened with upheaval, it’s the small things that end up mattering. Small things like the way I’rec kisses. Or the way we seem to have a lot more in common than we thought. Or the way I’rec can be gentle, but only with me.
DEATH ADDER (NAGA BRIDES BOOK 4) by Naomi Lucas
Females have returned to Earth, brought here by technology I do not trust. They’ve been claimed and nested and kept far from me. The broken one. The dark one. I will always be alone. When a box falls from the sky and a black-suited human female appears, I am in awe. I am in NEED. Only, she is surrounded by men. So, I will sneak up on her. I will stalk her, learn everything about her, and wait for the right moment. And when the time comes, I’ll set my trap. She will be caught. Then she will be claimed. By no one else but ME.
