It’s actually a very weak result, notable for the claim that it might be possible to occasionally remember a single word played to you at night. That’s pretty far from the claim you could learn a whole language that way.
The truth is, there is no learning without comprehension. Things like sleep learning and Rosetta Stone appeal to people because they seem to easy and painless, but you don’t get something for nothing.
