This year’s awards are extremely important, especially in regards to how things relate to the puppy controversy.
Personally, I’m hoping to see a rejection of slate-nominated works as expressed through the use of the No Award option in those categories that are completely dominated by slate nominees (and for slate nominees to be below No Award in mixed categories).
Lots of buzz about this and obviously we will all have to accept the results whatever they may be, but my finger on the pulse of fandom says to me that in the end, there will be a clear, though not total, rejection of slate nominated works.
Join me on Ustream tonight to see what really happens.
