Somehow this slipped past me until I spotted the trailer on IMDB. But it looks good. Robert Rodriguez always produces great movies (I even liked the Spy Kids films), so it will be great to see what he does with a TV series, especially one that is based on one of his most popular films.
The TV series is based on the hit film From Dusk Till Dawn, which starred George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino as the Gecko brothers who seek refuge in a bar (with their hostages) which turns out to be full of vampires.
The TV series focuses on a Texas Ranger who is in pursuit of the Gecko boys. The series cast seems to be full of actors who’ve had busy carriers, but I don’t recognise any of them…apart from Wilmer Valderrama (That 70s Show) and Don Johnson (Django Unchained, Miami Vice TV series).
I think this film will make a good TV show, I’m not too sure where the story will go, but excited to see where it. But, watching the trailer just makes me want to watch the film again. Surely they can’t recreate the infamous scene with Selma Hayek?!
The show starts in March in the US. Check out the trailer below if you haven’t seen it yet. Are you going to check out this series?
