Escritor, poeta y editor.

Graduado en Construcción Naval (1989) y Construcción Civil (1994). Comenzó sus primeras historias en el Taller Literario Óscar Hurtado donde entre en contacto con importantes escritores del fantástico cubano: Daína Chaviano, Roberto Estrada, Yoss, Raúl Aguiar, Ricardo García Fumero o Bruno Henríquez e intentó aprender de ellos.

Ha colaborado en los guiones del dibujo animado Filminuto y en el corto de video Una historia de más.

Desde 1999 dirige la revista digital miNatura especializada en microcuento fantástico, horror y ciencia ficción.

Sus obras se encuentras dispersas en diferentes antologías y publicaciones nacionales e internacionales.

Ha sido antologador en: Secretos del Futuro (Sed de Belleza, Cuba, 2005); El día de los cinco reyes y otro cuentos (miNatura Ediciones, España, 2011); (Gente Nueva, Cuba, 2013); El libro de los muertos vivos. Cuentos de zombis (Ediciones Lea, Argentina, 2013).

Ricardo began his first stories in the Oscar Hurtado Literary Workshop where he made significant contact with Cuban fantastic writers: Daina Chaviano, Roberto Estrada, Yoss, Raul Aguiar, Ricardo Garcia Fumero or Bruno Henríquez and tried to learn from them.

He collaborated on the screenplays Filminuto cartoon and video Una historia de más.

From 1999 he directed the magazine specializing in micro story (flash fiction) miNatura fantastic, horror and science fiction.

His works can be found various anthologies and national and international publications.
