Farrell J. McGovern

mcgovern farrell jFarrell McGovern has been involved with Science Fiction Fandom since 1978, when he attended his first convention.  It was there that he first experienced the conflagration of SF and Music when he tried to fall asleep on  a couch beside something called a “Filk Sing”.  The operative word here was “tried”.

Since then he has gone on to co-found and co-chair a literary SF convention, help start an APA that is still publishing, and occasionally work in the audio field as an engineer & producer when he wasn’t fiddling with computers professionally.  He plays guitar, synth, and is currently learning the Irish Harp. Fnord.”

He is also active in convention production and is currently working on Can-Con.
