Amazing Stories Whole Number 614: Update

We just got the banner backdrop for our booth at Worldcon in and it is ENORMOUS.  Not to mention FANTASTIC!  AMAZING, ASTOUNDING, ASTONISHING (you get the picture).

We’ll probably share a pic in the near future, if we have enough space to unroll it.

We’re ordering in some premiums as well, including some nifty lapel pins and badge ribbons.  Discussion is on-going regarding the method(s) for their distribution.

We are also discussing (probably too late) hosting some kind of get together for Amazing Stories contributors.

We have also switched our email server for submissions updates from our hosting server to a Gmail server; we believe that this will largely eliminate status updates being shuffled off to spamland (or being outright rejected) by recipient email servers.  (Several authors have noted that they have not received notices regarding their submissions and some have suggested that our system was not working.  Our system was working and dutifully sent out every status update that it was instructed to send out.  Unfortunately some recipient’s email servers did not like their origin or their construction, so we have taken the previously mentioned steps.)

Please take a moment to support Amazing Stories with a one-time or recurring donation via Patreon. We rely on donations to keep the site going, and we need your financial support to continue quality coverage of the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres as well as supply free stories weekly for your reading pleasure. https://www.patreon.com/amazingstoriesmag
