A quick update with some very special guests you can expect at FlameCon on June 13th…


Long-time Marvel editor Daniel Ketchum is known for his work on Runaways, Ghost Rider and X-Factor.  If that wasn’t impressive enough, he’s currently editing Uncanny Avengers,Magneto and the upcoming A-Force.


James Tynion IV will also be joining FlameCon. James has been writing up a storm over the past few years, including but not limited to Batman Eternal, Detective Comics,Constantine, The Woods and Memetic.

Jezza Smilez – Erotic artist and blogger, Jezza Smilez has been showcased in Brüno Gmunder’s “Stripped” series and has illustrated for Class Comics. He will be present with the latest issues of his own comic book, “Nathan and the Adonai.” (Adults Only)


Agent Scully International  –Thomas Slattery is a NYC based artist, concerned with how real reality is and why time works the way it does.


Scott William Simmons – For the past fifteen years Scott has successfully shown his work and has been represented by galleries in Provincetown, MA and Providence, RI. Also, an avid reader of SciFi and Fantasy novels, Scott reached a point where he wasn’t satisfied with what he was reading. So, picking up a pencil in his spare time, Scott wrote his first novel, “Choices Made – A Tale of the Gwerin”. “Choices Made” is a Fantasy based novel in which gods still walk the land.


Rufus – Rufus is a sculptor, illustrator, and toy designer. He has done the color design for hundreds of Transformers toys for Hasbro, Inc. along with working on many of their other major brands. He is also the creator of F.A.G.S., a line of designer toy figurines with an eye towards the homoerotic, and Scrap Metals, which parodies famous robots. He will have a lot of 2D and 3D surprises in store for Flame Con! You can check out a selection of his work on Instagram at Rufusart.


Retromode – Raised in the arcades of the 80’s, Richard Rossiter is a gamer geek who enjoys painting videogame inspired acrylic pieces (with special attention to landscapes). From MegaMan to Shovel Knight, Richard continues to draw inspiration from sprites and pixels as he strives to capture simpler times and the nostalgia of childhood gaming within his works.


Stevie Wilson – The collected comic works of Stevie Wilson, Vanessa Satone and Eve Grandt. Comics about feminism, queers, aliens, cats & vampires oh my!


Tripping Over You – Suzana Harcum and Owen White are a two-person comics making studio currently based in Arizona. They are married lesbian couple working together to produce LGBT friendly comics and stories – which includes Tripping Over You, their current ongoing webcomic.


Ship Jumper – Ship Jumper is a homoerotic webcomic about Piper, an enthusiastic young sailor from Clochette, a country in the midst of a long war. After their ship is destroyed in battle, Piper and his Captain, Ellis, find themselves stranded on a seemingly deserted island. Besides having to fight for their survival, Piper discovers that the island is full of mysterious creatures, as well as an unexpected fellow survivor from the wreck with a particular interest in him. Rated +18 for explicit sexual content.
