This week –

SPACE WEEK!

From October 4th (the 56th anniversary of the launch of Sputnik, mankind’s first artificial satellite on October 4, 1957) to October 10th (the 46th anniversary of the signing at the UN of the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activites of States in the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies – which pretty much knocked D. D. Harriman’s plans into a cocked hat), the world celebrates humanity’s exploration of space.

We belong there. We NEED to be there. Hopefully someday we will go – and stay.
