At this year’s Worldcon in LA (LACon V), The First Fandom Foundation – the legacy organization formed by the members following the passing of the last founder (Robert Madle) – presented its annual First Fandom Awards.
The recipients this year are:
For the Annual Hall of Fame Award, three recipients were announced:
Mike Glyer
Craig Miller
Bjo Trimble
The Posthumous Hall of Fame Award was awarded to:
Frederic Brown
Myrtle (Morojo) Douglas
and the Sam Mostkowitz Award for Collecting was given to:
Doug Ellis.
It does perhaos “say something” that I know or knew pretty much all of them. I’ll have to go measure my teeth.
