New Releases in Science Fiction/Fantasy/Paranormal Romance for Jan 4

Here’s the weekly post from my author blog on the new releases I found to be of interest in my three favorite romance genres (which are also the ones I write in!), and related areas such as time travel, steampunk, paranormal cozy romances and more. I do sometimes cover other releases of note in science fiction and fantasy.

As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts). I don’t pick up every single new release each week but try to provide a representative subset and lots of choices.

Here’s a teaser for this week’s first two books (jump to the blog to see the approximately 80+ titles featured this week):

CORSAIRS: ADIRON (CORSAIR BROTHERS BOOK 1) by Ruby Dixon

VS: Ooh, a new SFR series from Ms. Dixon!

It’s not easy being a space pirate…Actually, wait. Yes it is. It’s keffing awesome. The three va Sithai brothers — that’s us — cruise the universe looking for abandoned ships, treasure, and other pirate ships to rob. Right now, we’re on the hunt for the Buoyant Star, an abandoned cruiser rumored to have a massive treasure inside. The ship’s been found at the edge of an ice field at the far reaches of space. That treasure? About to be all ours. But the ship’s not all that abandoned. The Star is crewed by a few lonely, attractive human females who are thoroughly grateful at being rescued…Actually, wait. They’re not grateful at all. They’ve set us a trap, and their leader, a beautiful human female named Jade, gives me a smile just before she captures me. It’s official. I’m in love.

REYZON (RAKUI WARRIORS BOOK 3) by Lena Grey and Juno Wells

On Earth, 12 female college students board a starship for A Year of Interstellar Education. Crashing on a primitive planet inhabited by barbarian aliens was not on their itinerary…There are worse things than being worshipped by a Rakui, right? You know the old saying, ‘No good deed goes unpunished’? Turns out, it’s true. When Alana and I try to rescue our college students from a primitive planet, our plan backfires. Now we’re stranded on UD237 with the girls and Earth Gov has turned us into test subjects, too. And that’s not all. Reyzon, the giant, golden alien who saved my life, says I’m his mate. How can I be the hot barbarian’s mate? I’m a nerdy introvert who’s never even had a real boyfriend. Reyzon tells me he’s a patient male and will wait for me realize what his heart already knows: that we belong together forevermore. I don’t want to disappoint him, but I’d rather study the Rakui culture than settle down and start a family. Until a single kiss that leaves me breathless changes everything.
