Saga Press Giveaway: Win Three New Speculative Fiction Books

Hi, friends. We’re giving away some much-anticipated reads from speculative fiction publisher Saga Press, including a collection of short stories from Molly Gloss, an anthology of ghost stories, and a character-driven space drama.

Up for grabs? First, we have Unforeseen by Molly Gloss—the first complete collection of short stories from the award-winning author. The collection includes her most famous, Hugo-nominated story, “Lambing Season,” about a sheepherder named Delia who sees a green and yellow flash arc across the sky one summer day.

Unforeseen also includes two new stories in the 14-story collection, and is now available to purchase if you’re not ready to take your chances on the giveaway.

Next up, we have Do You Dream of Terra-Two by Temi Oh, which follows a team of six teens and four veteran astronauts who set off on a 23-year trip to an unexplored Earth-like planet. The novel is about the deadly journey there, and is an intimate, character-driven look at what that experience might look like that askes questions like: Have you ever hoped you could leave everything behind? Have you ever dreamt of a better world? Can a dream sustain a lifetime?

Do You Dream of Terra-Two is out on August 13th, if you want to pre-order.

Finally, we have Echoes, an anthology of ghost stories edited by Ellen Datlow that includes contributions from Joyce Carol Oates, Alice Hoffman, Seanan McGuire, and Paul Tremblay. In total, there are 29 stories, from the more literary to the unabashedly supernatural. The collection will be out on August 20th, if you want to pre-order; it will no doubt be the perfect tome going into the Halloween holiday season.
