Winners in the first round of the Boeing-sponsored GoFly contest have been announced. Aimed at encouraging viable designs for electric-powered passenger drones, the 10 winners now have nine months to build a prototype capable of vertical takeoffs and landings, and flights that can cover at least 20 miles.
